What’s So Special About Our BSP To Tube Adapters?
These are used when connecting BSP with imperial tube as normal BSP weld nipples and sockets don’t work nicely with imperial tube.
We stock two different types of BSP to tube adapters. A weld nipple adapter, also known as a reducing weld nipple, and a weld socket adapter, that was developed by The Metal Company. Both of these fittings are machine finished from high quality 316 stainless steel.
A weld Nipple Adapter has a tapered male BSP thread on one side, and on the other side it butt welds directly to imperial tube or tube fittings. Something unique about our weld nipple adapters is the internal diameter of the tube continues right until the chamfer, which reduces the impact on flow.
A weld socket adapter has a female BSP Threaded socket on one side, and on the other side it butt welds to the outside diameter of tube or tube fittings.
A unique feature of our adapters that we developed is that they have a flat spot to allow you to tighten the fitting more easily. No more scratched up fittings!
We stock both adapters in sizing from ½ an inch to 4 inches.
These adapters also form the base of a lot of other BSP Adapters we stock, such as our RJT-BSP adapters, Tri Clover to BSP adapters and more.
