Negative bushes are used to connect pipes or fittings with different thread sizes.

These fittings contain BSP threaded ends and are commonly used in plumbing and piping systems. 

Negative bushes have a working pressure of 150psi/10 bar and can withstand temperatures of up to 250 degrees. 

There are a number of different bushes available in our range and sometimes it can be  hard to work out what you need. 

This is a negative bush. These can serve 2 purposes, either increase the size of a female thread, or decrease the size of a male thread.  

As per our BSP standard, the male thread is tapered and the female thread is parallel. 

We stock variety of different sizes and the smallest is ¼-1/8th and the largest is 3”-2.5”
