WaterMark vs General Purpose RapidPress Tube

Watermark Approval (WA) is a mandatory certification program for specific plumbing and drainage products to ensure that they are appropriate and authorised for use.

The WaterMark program operates on a five-year certification cycle, with yearly product surveillance.

OUR WATERMARK APPROVED TUBE

The RapidPress Watermark approved Tube is produced in Europe alongside our press-fit fittings using 316L grade material. This is essential for meeting WA requirements and potable water applications. We stock watermark tube in sizes ranging from 15-108mm.

Our standard RapidPress Tube is manufactured by the same mill in Taiwan that produces our Dairy tube. This tube is not accompanied by WA and is typically utilised for various services, including compressed air, glycol, wash down, and wastewater, but not for potable water applications.

It is important to recognise that WA is important when it comes to potable water usage. However, for other non-potable water applications, Watermark is not necessary and does not provide any inherent advantages. Our standard RapidPress tube is perfectly suited for such applications.
