Our Range of Camlocks Explained

Camlocks are hose couplings used to rapidly connect and disconnect fittings on piping or hose.

The fittings are capable of carrying liquids, powders and granules. They can also be known as quick-connect fittings, quick-release fittings, cam and groove couplings or simply ‘couplings’. Typical industry applications include irrigation, pumping, pumping, oil distribution, petrochemical, agriculture, machinery and food and beverage. Our camlocks are manufactured to standard A-A-59326A.

The assembly of a Camlock coupling is made up of two pieces: an adapter and a coupler. You simply place the male adapter in the female coupler, close the arms on the fitting and the camlock is locked in place ready to use. The Camlock fittings do not require any tools to connect or disconnect the two halves. The female has an EPDM gasket at the base of the coupling to ensure a tight seal is formed when the male is locked in place.
