FAQs

What Are Needle Valves?

A Needle valve is used to regulate small amounts of flow or high pressures through either an appliance or system.

The unique feature about a Needle Valve is that it has a small plunger which is similar to a needle (hence the name). The needle valve’s needle fits into the seat of the valves. This allows Needle Valves to accurately control fluid flow through the valve. These valves have many applications such as water distribution systems.

These valves have parallel female BSP threaded ends, contain a PTFE seal and are controlled using a T handle.

NEEDLE VALVE TEMPERATURE RATINGS

The maximum temperature rating of these valves is 200 degrees celsius and the maximum pressure this valve can handle is 6000PSI. We stock needle valves in 1/4 and ½ inch.
