RapidPress meets WaterCare’s standards and requirements, giving you confidence in both compliance and performance. RapidPress is fully recognised by WaterCare and is listed on their approved materials list.
How RapidPress Meets WaterCare’s Standards:
WaterCare has comprehensive materials lists that include pipes, equipment, machinery, components and products used in the water, wastewater systems, and associated electrical and control systems. These materials must meet stringent guidelines for safety and compliance. Because RapidPress is suitable for potable water, RapidPress meets WaterCare’s requirements for approved materials.
Compliance and Performance
Not only is it the case that RapidPress meets WaterCare’s standards for approved materials, but it also outperforms alternatives. RapidPress is a modular system that utilises O-Rings and hydraulically pressed crimps to ensure every connection has a tight seal and won’t leak.
The unique, patented lenticular shape and design of the RapidPress seal allows for up to 20% more sealing than other brands. For sizes up to 54mm, a ridge in the seal allows for a ‘leak before press’, ensuring any unpressed joins to be detected during pressure testing. This means that RapidPress fittings are less likely to leak than alternatives.
Ease of Installation
In addition to the fact RapidPress meets WaterCare’s standards for materials, it is also easy to install, taking less time than other WaterCare systems, as it does not require extensive welding. It should be noted that while RapidPress is approved for potable water, it is not approved for food and beverage applications.
