These convoluted PTFE lined hoses have a corrugated inner surface meaning they are highly flexible, allowing for easy installation and manoeuvrability. They can be routed through tight spaces and around obstacles without kinking or causing damage. When considering these for use with a food and beverage you should consider the corrugations as this could be an area where bacteria can accumulate if not flushed sufficiently. On request we can supply a smooth internal PTFE liner but this significantly decreases the flexibility of the hose.
As mentioned earlier, PTFE has exceptional chemical resistance, low friction properties and high temperature resistance. These hoses have an external 304 stainless braid over the PTFE internal lining.
